Hey guys! what is that name of a tv series where this girl dies but comes back as a vampire or something?

i cant quite recall the name of the show but it came out on the cw channel 61 a few years ago and the girl turns blue or something shes dead but ain't the villain, i do remember her eyes are blue i think the show is called angel but im not sure please help!!! if it helps i live in phoenix arizona.
