If a major consists of 70 units, does that mean its a major not doing?

The major is statistical economics. Sounds good but is it really worth it? I see other majors are at least a 100 units to attain that degree. So what I'm trying to say is, if the number of units are about 70, does that mean its not worth it and the greater the units it is worth it?
