In-laws and christmas?

so my in-laws asked me what i want for christmas.. is a crock pot and some muffin tins too much to ask for? this is the first christmas that my hubby and i have spent together so i'm kinda unsure what to ask for. other things i have thought about is a couple of movies or boardgames. but i really need a crockpot and a couple of muffin tins.
