What does the word repent mean to you personally?

True repentenace is to have a change of heart for something wrong you did, the way you have lived your life, the sins you have committed, and to ask for forgiveness from God. True repentance will mean you have decided to leave those things behind that were sins and don't do them again. If you keep going back to them, that usually means you didn't really repent and you are the same person as you were before.
