Can I back out from Naval DEP?

I'm currently in inactive reserve in the Navy DEP program. I've already been to meps i scored a 98 on my asvab and was immediatly pushed into choosing nuke as my rate (originally I was interested in EOD but they brushed off the program...). My family has been against my enlistment and encouraged me to explore other options. So eecently I've done some research on NROTC programs at Texas A&M and after applying and waiting anxiously, I've been accepted. To me, this accomplishes all I wanted to join the navy for in the first place ( Education, Discipline) and I'm now having second thoughts about joining the navy as an enlisted nuke for 6 years. I still plan to join the armed forces, but joining as an officer seems to be a more attractive option. So my specific questions are; Can I back out of DEP at this point? If so, how do i start the process?
