Does it take more than good looks to make it in the world?

I disagree. I think looks can only get you so far, and, frankly, I wouldn't like to think that it was only my looks that got me the promotion, or the attention of a top manager. I think that intelligence and creativity go much father. Take a look at our world leaders, both politically and morally. Not many of them are extremely good looking, no offense to them. They made it up through their talents, not by just looking pretty and smiling. The pretty people (or the people who pay to become pretty) probably aren't very secure about themselves once their looks drop, which, eventually, they will. Of course, so does your mind, and emotional stability, etc. My point is, you need more than looks to make a life.
